SEN Behaviour Support Worker – SLD

Lexia Education Services is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Behaviour Support Worker with experience working with students with SLD to join our team. As a SEN Behaviour Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with SLD in their daily routines and activities
• Helping to develop and implement behaviour support plans
• Assisting with communication and language development
• Providing a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting the teacher and other professionals in the classroom

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with SLD
• A passion for working with young people with additional needs
• A good understanding of SEMH, PMLD, ADHD, and ASC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
