Competitive Pay

Long-term assignments pay £106.50 – £130 per day. Permanent roles up to £32,000 per annum. We reimburse your travel expenses. We pay £0.45 per mile.

Training & Support

We provide comprehensive training and support to all qualifying mentors in South West England. We equip mentors with essential skills and knowledge through rigorous training programmes, offer continuous professional growth opportunities, workshops, and resources, and foster a collaborative network that nurtures mentorship skills and provides mutual support.

I have been a tutor on behalf of LEXIA Education for nearly 18 months . During this time I have met some amazing young people, have had so much fun, alongside some invaluable learning. Age ranges of students I have tutored have been from 7-18 which stretches my professional development, enhancing what we offer each individual child. Having retired from full-time teaching after almost 40 years of service, the role of a SEND tutor has enabled me to continue to practise and develop my teaching skills while working to a more flexible timetable. The role can be challenging, but is ultimately rewarding as the child or student begin to reconnect with education and rediscover their love for learning. Every student offers their own unique set of challenges and needs a bespoke curriculum which relies on the flexibility of the tutor to deliver it. Tutors are very well supported and have access to CPD which enable tutors to stay up to date and improve their practise.
