Positive reviews from our Mentors
Honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Having retired from full-time teaching after almost 40 years of service, the role of a SEND tutor has enabled me to continue to practise and develop my teaching skills while working to a more flexible timetable. The role can be challenging, but is ultimately rewarding as the child or student begin to reconnect with education and rediscover their love for learning. Every student offers their own unique set of challenges and needs a bespoke curriculum which relies on the flexibility of the tutor to deliver it. Tutors are very well supported and have access to CPD which enable tutors to stay up to date and improve their practise.
My experience with Lexia has been incredible. Alex deals with everything so professionally and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re always at ease. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone to join and change the lives of young people.
Lexia really saw my potential. I felt recognised and heard. The placement they found me, has really helped me find myself.
Super pleased to be working with Lexia, I really felt like you guys took care to consider what I wanted from a role. It’s also very nice to feel valued and supported, I know you guys are just a message away if I need you 🙂 Thank you Lexia, for everything.
