Competitive Pay for Mentors

We value the dedication and expertise of our mentors by offering competitive pay. Your commitment to inspiring and supporting young people is rewarded with a compensation package that reflects your valuable contributions.

Pay Range

Long-term assignments pay £106.50 – £130 per day. Permanent roles up to £32,000 per annum.

Travel Expenses

We reimburse your travel expenses. We pay £0.45 per mile.

Whylee grew up in a tough area of Bristol, facing the same struggles so many young people are experiencing today. Instead of letting those challenges define him, he turned them into a fuel for change. Now, as a Mentor, Whylee uses his own personal story of resilience and overcoming - to inspire students to believe in their own futures once more💫🔥

With years of experience training and competing at an elite level 🥋🏆, Whylee shares more than guidance - he offers young people a sense of belonging and hope. His journey is proof that with the right mindset, anything is possible 🌟

As a result of all of your hard work, empathy, patience and understanding - hundreds of children, their families and their schools are now thriving like never before.

It has been privilege of our lives to hear of all of the success stories, supporting some of societies most vulnerable young people, trailblazing a new raised standard of support for our most at risk children.

2024 has been an incredible year, as our work continues to influence UK sector wide changes in education, as we pioneer specialist interventions and mentoring programmes across the southwest.

I have been a tutor on behalf of LEXIA Education for nearly 18 months . During this time I have met some amazing young people, have had so much fun, alongside some invaluable learning. Age ranges of students I have tutored have been from 7-18 which stretches my professional development, enhancing what we offer each individual child. LEXIA are supportive at all times and for the first time in years I feel appreciated by an employer. Working for LEXIA has enabled me to bring back the fun into learning. Having retired from full-time teaching after almost 40 years of service, the role of a SEND tutor has enabled me to continue to practise and develop my teaching skills while working to a more flexible timetable. The role can be challenging, but is ultimately rewarding as the child or student begin to reconnect with education and rediscover their love for learning. Every student offers their own unique set of challenges and needs a bespoke curriculum which relies on the flexibility of the tutor to deliver it. Tutors are very well supported and have access to CPD which enable tutors to stay up to date and improve their practise.
