Lexia works in partnership with schools, local authorities, parents, and carers and acts as the missing ‘jigsaw piece’ in organising and setting up an alternative or additional education provision. We are the link between the multi-agency teams around a child’s education.

Helping children with disabilities
to overcome barriers to learning.

Our programmes set out all of the extra help and support each child will need to overcome barriers to learning by tailoring our approach to their education, health and care plan (EHCP).

High-quality education delivered by qualified tutors.

Lexia tutors are qualified to deliver tailored programmes of work with individual children/young adults. These programmes are delivered on a 1:1 basis and for an agreed number of hours per week. We follow REC guidelines meaning all of our tutors are interviewed by Lexia and full safeguarding and vetting checks are completed.
