Key Responsibilities

Your Role as an SEN Tutor:

  • Deliver tailored academic support to help and empower students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers and teachers to create personalized learning plans that address each student’s unique needs and strengths.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback, encouragement and adjustments to ensure continuous growth and success.

SEN Tutor Role Requirements:

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues is essential for fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): QTS is required to ensure a high standard of education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Teaching Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience is required to bring expertise and confidence to the role.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
