Administrator – Tuition Provision Coordination

Salary: £24k-£28k per annum dependent on experience

Lexia Education Services Ltd is a trusted and growing provider of high-quality educational support services. We pride ourselves on our friendly, professional, and supportive team culture. We are now seeking an Administrator to join our Head Office in Backwell, North Somerset, to help coordinate and manage our specialist tuition provisions.

The Role

This is an office-based position with a strong focus on coordination, problem-solving, and relationship management. You will work closely with parents/carers, representatives from local authorities, and our large network of specialist tutors to ensure every tuition arrangement runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for queries, resolving issues quickly and professionally, while ensuring the highest standards of communication and record-keeping. Our tutors work in diverse settings, including children’s homes and the wider community, supporting some of the most vulnerable learners.

You will play a central role in:

  • Liaising directly with parents, carers, and local authority contacts to arrange schedules, and set up tuition provisions.
  • Providing meaningful advice, guidance, and administrative support to a large, workforce of specialist tutors.
  • Handling complex queries from tutors, finding practical solutions, and ensuring teaching time is maximised.
  • Processing referrals through in-depth and ensuring tutors are allocated quickly and appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and safeguarding protocols.
  • Preparing reports, documents, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of people.
  • Confident in handling sensitive and sometimes challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT confident (Microsoft Office, email, database systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
  • Previous experience in administration, coordination, or education is desirable.
