PMLD Support Assistant

Lexia Education Services is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic PMLD Support Assistant to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in a range of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with PMLD in their academic and personal development
• Work with teachers and other staff members to create a safe and supportive learning environment
• Provide assistance with daily tasks such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Help students to participate in activities and engage with their surroundings
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and understanding of PMLD and associated needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
• Enhanced DBS check

This position is available on a permanent, part-time, and temporary basis with a day rate of £92.50-£100. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.
